Physical Therapist

Location: Home Health

Area: North Miami, Miami, Fort Myers/Lehigh Acres

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical impairments and functional limitations

  • Develop personalized and evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams

  • Implement a variety of physical therapy interventions to address musculoskeletal, neurological, and other conditions

  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

  • Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and home programs to enhance recovery

  • Utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive devices to support patient rehabilitation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists

  • Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy research and contribute to evidence-based practice

  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy

  • Proficient knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills

  •  Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to licensure requirements

Occupational Therapist

Location: Home Health

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with patients to establish goals

  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address patients' functional limitations

  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic activities, exercises, and adaptive equipment recommendations

  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies

  • Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy research and contribute to evidence-based practice

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure requirements

Requirements

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  •  Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards
